A DAY FOR MOTHER

This is the day for unconditional love, gratitude and appreciation to those that have nurtured and empowered us to be who we are today ~ our mothers.
As with all words there is more than one meaning for mother. In its most pure and recognizable  form, "she" is a person who gives birth to a child, is a female parent, a female ancestor. In it's more obscure and unique form, a complex meaning is determined to be universal to both genders.
A mother is  a condition that is the inspiration for an activity or situation; "necessity is the mother of invention". Inspiration universally and collectively speaking arouses the mind to special unusual activity or creativity. I  believe that all people are mothers in this sense and can make a difference in the world through inspiration.
A person who creates, originates, or founds something is a mother. This creative source, this origin is surrounded by belief and love.
The biggest or most significant example of its kind is a mother. The "mother" of it all. It is something that is considered extraordinary in  size and intensity
It is within these definitions that there is the awareness that mother is also a leader, one who recognizes your talents and strengths and accepts you for who you are and believes. One who allows you to be your very best, lifts you up and lets you go...
Happy Mothers Day to all who have empowered others to become self aware, you are truly a gift to the world.
